This option is for learners who are already working at Level 2 and feel ready to sit the Functional Skills exam without purchasing the preparation course.

After purchase, we will contact you to arrange the next steps and collect the information needed to book your examination.

The exam is completed online from home using automated remote invigilation.

Maths and English are available. In most cases, please allow around one week for the exam to be arranged — still a much faster route than waiting for the next traditional exam series.

For Functional Skills English, the Speaking, Listening and Communicating element takes place online as part of a group discussion. Because this relies on other learners being available, this part of the qualification may take longer to arrange.

Fast-track results are typically available within 2–6 working days following the relevant examination components, although this timeframe is not guaranteed.
